Terms & Conditions

  • Reservation, Deposit & Confirmation

    • In order to make a reservation, a $200 per person deposit must be submitted online, done in person at our office  or sent by regular mail along with a completed reservation form and a clear copy of each passenger's passport. A copy of your passport is required to book the international and domestic flights within China. If your passport is currently being renewed or applied for, you may mail or submit the reservation form and deposit first to secure your space on the tour.
    • Due to limited airspace, confirmation for your reservation is given in the order deposits are received by our office. Therefore, it's best to reserve online.
    • Upon receipt of your reservation form and deposit, please allow 1-2 weeks to receive a written confirmation. The confirmation will include an invoice, flight itinerary, frequently asked questions, visa application form (per person) plus visa application procedures. Please keep in mind the minimum tour size is six (6) people; however, the tour must have ten (10) people in order for a national guide to be assigned (except GT in which a national guide will not be assigned regardless of the group size). If your tour has not reached the minimum requirement yet, an acknowledgement notice will be sent to you with more details on when to expect to hear from us and what your options are if the tour does get cancelled.
    • Once your reservation has been processed, any changes pertaining to your tour must be submitted in writing to our office and subject to a penalty if applicable.

  • Final Payment & Payment Type

    • The balance of tour payment is due 50 days prior to departure. Final payments not received by the due date are subject to cancellation and your deposit will be forfeited. In the event that a reservation is made less than 50 days before the trip, full payment must be made immediately.
    • Payments received 1-10 days overdue will assess a $50 late fee per invoice, not per person.
    • Bounced checks will assess a $20 fee per check.
    • Installment payments will incur a $15 fee per payment.
    • If you decide to switch payment types after a deposit has been made, there is no penalty, but requests must be submitted in writing to our office.  Depending on whether you're switching from check to credit card or vice verse, your invoice will be adjusted the difference if you qualify or no longer qualify for the cash discount rate.
    • If your final payment has already been charged to your credit card, the transaction cannot be reversed. Therefore, switching payment types is not allowed at that time.
    • Tour fares are subject to change without notice.

  • Final Tour Package

    • Final packages are generally sent out within two weeks before your date of departure. We emphasize again that your final package will be sent out and not received by you two weeks prior to your tour departure date. Final package will include the following: finalized tour itinerary, flight schedules, hotel information, name badges, luggage tags, etc. There will not be any tickets because they will be e-ticketed. All you need is your passport to check into each flight.
    • If we are handling your visa to China, your passport will be sent back with your final package by Federal Express 2-day service (not including weekends).
    • If you obtained your own visa, your final package will be sent by standard USPS mail. If you asked for us to hand deliver your passport at the SFO airport, your final package will also be sent by standard USPS mail.
    • If you have a connecting flight to San Francisco (either on your own or booked by us), a passenger receipt that looks like a paper ticket will be mailed to you with your final package. This receipt is only for your records and is not intended for use of travel. Please keep this in a safe place. If you are departing directly out of JFK to China, this receipt will also be sent with your final package.
    • If you live in the Bay Area and do not have any connecting flights to SFO, your passenger receipt will be hand delivered by our representative meeting you at the Air China check-in counter.
