Terms & Conditions

  • Optional Tours
Although optional tours will mainly be offered during the free day(s) of your tour, dependent upon other factors, they may also be offered on other occasions. One example is The Impression Show in Yangshuo, it will only be offered if the weather permits, but often times it does not. Therefore, we cannot put it on the itinerary. Another example is the camel ride in Dunhuang, it is optional due to liability reasons. You must sign a waiver before taking the camel ride in case of an accident. In most cases, optional tours are offered during the free day(s) for those who are interested in more sightseeing rather than shopping or venturing off on their own. For all the above scenarios and reasons, optional tours will be offered by the local guides and if you choose to do the optional tour(s), payments are to be made directly to the guides in China. We do not take payments in advance because some tours are weather permitting plus most passengers cannot decide ahead of time or change their minds while in China. This method is most convenient for everyone.
