China Focus Travel is a privately owned company established in October of 1991. Our sole office is located in the heart of beautiful downtown San Francisco. Its long been serving as the gateway to China and home for China Focus Travel since the very beginning with its rich, diverse cultures and fantastic history, San Francisco was the first and only choice for us.

Our office is situated in the famous James Flood Building, which is a gorgeous landmark and great example of San Francisco's unique architectural styles. Along with the Flood Building, downtown is home to numerous major department stores and restaurants. Not to mention we are located next to the cable car turn around that can take you to Fisherman’s Wharf. 

Our friendly and experienced staff is not only here to assist you with choosing the right travel package to China, but also to accommodate your travel needs as best to our ability. Each member has been with the company for many years and for most repeat customers, we're considered a friend as well. We have strived for 17 years to make each customer feel comfortable and at ease with travel to China and we will continue to do so for many more years to come. Our primary goal is to provide each customer with a wonderful experience of China, but without the tedious planning and research involved. Jack Lee, the founder, owner and president of China Focus Travel, wanted one simple thing when he started this business and that was to make travel to China affordable yet meet the standards of a dream vacation.  So far, he’s been very successful since many keep coming back to take different packages and each time, they bring home unforgettable memories.

You may have seen our tour fares and wondered how we can design vacations so affordable. Don't worry...you're not alone because many have asked us "how do you do it?" or "what's the catch?" Believe it or not, there is "no" catch. Our strategy is simply not to mark up the prices so that we can reduce them later and make it seem like we're offering a special deal. We believe in making vacations to China affordable all year round. Now for our secret in obtaining such fares: first, we negotiate the lowest rates on Air China, then we obtain special group rates at deluxe hotels all over China, and finally, since most of you find out about our company through word of mouth, it enables us to eliminate expensive advertising costs so that we may offer the finest and least expensive tours in the business!

Superior Accommodations

To ensure your utmost comfort, we book only specially selected first class hotels that offer the amenities and comfort you expect. For example, one of our regularly scheduled accommodations is the Jiangxi Grand Hotel, which is located near Tian'anmen Square, Summer Palace, Beijing Zoo and "Sea World in the Zoo," which is the largest aquarium in Asia. This hotel has a magnificently spacious and elegant lobby, large indoor swimming pool, gym, bowling alley, indoor tennis courts, billiard hall, shuffleboard room, racquet ball, massage parlor, sauna room and the list goes on. As for the guest rooms, there are 352 regally appointed rooms decorated in different styles, satellite TV, stereo, refrigerator with mini-bar, in-room safe, IDD telephone, private restroom with a bathtub and shower, central air-conditioning and more!

Delicious Meals

Most tours include three fine meals per day in carefully selected local city restaurants or hotels. Breakfast is American served buffet-style, while lunch and dinner are served in a family-style manner with eight to ten Chinese dishes per table, including one beverage of your choice (beer, soda, tea, or hot water). By popular demand, certain meals in various cities will be on your own.

Evening entertainment includes first class shows such as the amazing Shanghai Acrobatic Show, and an extravagant Tang Dynasty Music and Dance theater production.

Safe, Comfortable Transportation

Our tours use a combination of motor coaches, trains, and inter-city airline flights. Day trains are first class with soft cushioned seats, while overnight trains offer first class sleeping cars with four berths in each compartment. For inter-city flights, we select domestic airlines that primarily use Boeing Air Bus and McDonnell Douglas aircrafts.
