China Focus Travel will safeguard the confidentiality and security of the information we obtain from you. This notice describes our privacy policy as it relates to the collection, protection and disclosure of such information resulting from credit card transactions plus any additional forms completed by you during the reservation and visa process. When state law is more protective of individuals than federal privacy law, we will protect information in accordance with state law consistent with the requirements of federal preemption.
Collection of Information
China Focus Travel will collect and use information obtained from credit card transactions, reservation forms, actual or passport copies, visa application forms and emails, but solely for business purposes. Your information will always be kept confidential and will never be released to other members in your tour group nor will it be sold to third parties.
Protecting Your Credit Card & Personal Information
The credit card and personal information provided by you to China Focus Travel will be stored in a confidential manner. Our employees may access such information only when there is an appropriate business reason to do so, such as when a refund must be issued back to the credit card or when you need to be contacted regarding your trip. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your information, and our employees are required to follow these privacy standards. What Your Personal Information is Collected and Used For
1. Passport Copy - Full legal name, passport number, date of birth and gender are necessary in order to make reservations with the airlines, cruise lines, hotels and other local operators in
2. Actual Passport - Required by the Chinese Consulate in order to obtain your visa to enter
3. Mailing Address - Necessary to communicate with you and send you your final package.
4. Billing Address - Necessary to send your invoice for collection of payment. If you are paying by credit card, it is required to process your transaction.
5. Telephone/Fax Numbers & Email Addresses - Only used by office personnel to contact you regarding your trip unless you select "Single Traveler (Willing to Share)"on your reservation form. In this case, you give China Focus Travel permission to release your contact information to other single travelers (of the same gender) who are also seeking a roommate on the same tour and departure date you are signed up on.
Disclosure of Your Information
China Focus Travel does not disclose any nonpublic information (such as credit card numbers and their expiration dates) about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as required by law. We disclose information only when it is necessary for the conduct of State or Federal government business, or under circumstances where disclosure is required by law. Information may also be disclosed for audit purposes, to regulatory agencies or for other general administrative services. We do not disclose information about you to other entities who may want to sell their products to you.
Electronic Signatures
You acknowledge that by clicking on the "I Agree" or similar button on China Focus Travel's reservation form, you are indicating your intent to sign the relevant document or record and that this shall constitute your signature. You also acknowledge and agree that your consent to electronic Communications is being provided in connection with a transaction affecting interstate commerce that is subject to the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, and that you and we both intend that the Act apply to the fullest extent possible to validate our ability to conduct business with you by electronic means.

China Focus Travel's website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to ensure transaction security.
Updates to Our Privacy Policy
If necessary, China Focus Travel may update or change this privacy policy. If we should change our privacy policies, those changes will be posted on this page and by using the site, you agree in advance to accept such changes.
