Historic China by Bullet Train (HC12) - 10 Day

« »

“We would certainly consider China Focus again and recommend to friends. Great value for money!” Ralph & Larry Kelly, Three Gorges Expedition

China has been rapidly developing in the past two decades, and so has it's railway system.  This will be the only tour that offers you  the fun experience of China's new bullet train at about 200 mph.  This tour is superb for first time visitors of China. The itinerary includes Suzhou, known as the "Venice of the Orient" for its crisscrossing network of canals, as well as Qufu, the hometown of Confucius. Also included is a stay in Tai'an, at the foot of Mt. Tai, and a visit to Ji'nan, the "City of Springs." In these cities, the vast history of China and Chinese culture will be apparent all around you. Contrast these experiences with adventures in the cosmopolitan cities of Beijing and Shanghai, where ancient and modern both integral aspects of each city's identity.

Recommended Tipping Guideline

Tipping is on a VOULUNTARY BASIS ONLY. We believe tipping as a reward for the service and hard work provided by our guides, drivers, porters, and maids while in China. Our guides and drivers are extremely conscientious and work to provide our travelers with excellent service; making their experience in China one that they will always remember fondly. Please remember to show your appreciation for their dedication. We do offer a recommended guideline for tipping, but if you feel that the service was not satisfactory, you are NOT obligated to tip. Also, please report any substandard behavior or actions to our office immediately at support@chinafocustravel.com.

We recommend $8/day per passenger, which covers the drivers, local guides, porters, maids, and national guide. We recommend $48 per passengers to cover the cruise staff (if your tour includes the Yangtze River cruise). Recommended Total = $72 Per Passenger. Tipping would be paid in China.
