Why Choose China Focus?

China Focus, one of the very few reliable tour operators rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau, has been the price and quality leader for first class travel to China since 1991. We’re a brand that Americans can trust. One of the keys to our success is our unique quality control system. Customer satisfaction is our  number one priority. Not only do we monitor our tours on a daily basis and work around the clock to resolve any issues that may arise to ensure you have a perfect vacation, but we would send “quality control” personnel from our U.S. office disguised as normal travelers to accompany our tours in order to collect accurate status reports on hotels, buses, and guides. Making sure that everything meets the high standards China Focus has been known for, we actively and timely replace any aspect of the tours that no longer meets our required standards. Nothing is perfect, but China Focus has never stopped pursuing perfection with great passion.

Unbeatable Value

All our competitors say they have unbeatable value, but when you actually compare us, it’s obvious that our similar tours will not only save you hundreds of dollars per person, but you’ll also stay in better hotels at better locations, have better meals, better guide service and better coverage such as travel insurance and more attractions they do not include in the package price. We are the company that makes saving money a reality by making as little profit as possible in order to offer you a dream vacation on a tight budget. We have more buying power than most U.S. tour operators due to the larger business volume we deliver to airlines, hotels, and local handling agencies. Since you will deal directly with our specialists, you will save a lot of money on commissions that are normally paid to retail travel agents. To stay as the low price leader, we monitor the U.S. market and our top competitors on a regular basis. Along with the strong support of Air China, hotels and local agencies in China, we’re able to achieve this goal. We work together to guarantee the unbeatable value for your travel investment. You are encouraged to shop around and compare us with any other China tour operators. If you can find any tours at a lower price with comparable value, please let us know and we’ll be happy to offer you a bonus for your kindness in reporting it to us.

Budget vs Deluxe Tours

The main difference between these two categories is the class of hotels/cruise ship used. Budget tours are comprised solely of 4-star accommodations, whereas deluxe tours are mainly 5-star (if not all) with some 4-star accommodations (to keep prices affordable). When you compare the itineraries, sightseeing, food, transportation, etc., they are identical. We never compromise quality nor the value of our tours. We always strive to get you the best deal for your budget and still fulfill your dream vacation to China!

Handpicked Tour Managers and Local Guides

As known by all seasonal travelers, tour guides play a very important role in ensuring a joyful, worry-free, yet informative, and successful trip. Through great efforts for many years, China Focus has built up a great team of professional national guides and local guides. Our guides are handpicked (very few tour operators are able to do so), therefore travelers are able to designate a guide beforehand. We select our local/national guides based on these qualifications:

                1. Good command of English.
                2. Knowledge of China and experience as a tour guide.
                3. Hospitality and round clock care to customers and abides by our company policies.

If a guide continually receives a low rating, we will investigate and take the proper action to either suspend or terminate him/her. The related local travel agents who provide the guide service will face being suspended or terminated as well.

Meals

Most meals are included in the tour package. Breakfast is American served buffet-style at the hotel. Lunches and dinners are Chinese served family-style because we want each traveler to have an opportunity to experience local flavors, which vary in each city. We use tourist class restaurants, meaning they are an approved sanitary dining facility. They’re not only used for first class tours (such as ours), but also the luxury groups that paid much more for their tour (elsewhere). Fast food will be provided as a substitute lunch once for tours between 7-15 days, twice for tours between 18-20 days and 3 times for the 29-day tour.

Feedback

We ask all customers to rate hotels, guides, drivers, meals, etc. Whenever a certain person/place receives repetitive complaints, we take immediate action to investigate and resolve the issue so that we do not compromise our quality. We appreciate your comments, ratings and any suggestions to help us improve. We are confident that with help of all parties concerned China Focus will always lead the industry both in price and quality.
